LWP :: Protocol :: httpsがメインのLWPライブラリからプルされたPERL_LWP_SSL_VERIFY_HOSTNAMESときに、https検証の実行方法（具体的には環境変数）を制御する構成オプションのデフォルト値に変更がありました。これで、ホスト名のチェックがオンになります。デフォルト。以前はオフでした。perl 5.14ライブラリがこれらの新しい変更を取得し、5.12が古いバージョンを使用している可能性があります。
