Rails アプリで libarchive を動作させようとしています。具体的には、ファイルを解凍し、その内容を .CPGZ ファイルとして再圧縮する必要があります。これにはLibarchiveが最善の策だと思います。

しかし、bundle install を実行すると、次のエラーが表示されます: (archive.h が見つからないというエラーが表示されます)。

これが意味することは、Heroku のスタックに libarchive ライブラリがないということだと思います。Cedar でも動作しないことがわかりました。残念ながら、libarchive gem は C ライブラリの単なるラッパーであるため、インクルードされるまでは使用できません。
