android - Android NameValuePair が文字列を受け入れない

Question

HTTPPost を使用して値をサーバーに送信しています。スクリプトは、私が以下に持っているものでうまく動作します。ただし、名前と値のペアをこれに変更すると、強制終了します。

nameValuePairs.add(new BasicNameValuePair("id", idOfTextView.getText().toString()));

これは、テキストビューを読み取らないコードです。
