アセットからデータベースをコピーする際に問題が発生しています。私のデータベースの例が 300KB の小さなサイズの場合、問題なく動作します。しかし、データベースが 2.5 MB に達すると、エラーが発生しました。新しい AVD を作成した後、正常に動作しています。エミュレータのSDカードがエラーの原因ではないでしょうか?アプリをデバイスにインストールすると、アプリが機能するためです。
