PHP ライブラリ PHPWord を使用して MS Word ドキュメントを作成しようとしています。

ドキュメント内の 2 つ以上のセルを結合する方法を教えてください。または、テーブルの各行に異なる数のセルを含める方法は?

セル定義を次のように試しました：

$cell11 = array('gridSpan'=>2);

しかし、それはうまくいきませんでした....
