I am using the provided CMakeLists.txt file which contains the code above. What I am trying to do is to compile the library using the /MT flag. Does anybody know how to do that?

CMAKE_C_FLAGS とその仲間にフラグを追加することは、特定のフラグをコンパイラに渡す適切な方法ですが、CMAKE_C_* 変数は C ファイルのコンパイルにのみ影響します。

プロジェクトに C++ ファイルがある場合は、CMAKE_CXX_FLAGS とその仲間も設定する必要があります。

また、cmake-gui または ccmake で、CMakeLists ファイルを変更せずにこれを行うことができます。一度設定すると、cmake-gui または ccmake でこれらの変数のデフォルト値を確認できます。次に、いくつかの変数をアプリで直接変更し、再度構成すると、コードを変更せずにビルド ツリーのフラグを設定できます。

常にフラグが必要な場合は、コードを変更するのが正しいアプローチです。ただし、ビルドを完了させようとしているだけの場合は、コードに触れずにフラグを設定できます。
