imageLayer.zPosition三角形の各辺のを、三角形の中心(この場合は正三角形)からの距離に設定する必要があります。

もしそうsideHeight = self.bounds.size.height / 2.0f;
ならdistanceFromCenter = ((sideHeight / 2.0f) / sqrt(3));

また、側面の回転を設定するときは、それらを必要な位置に移動する必要があります(コードではハードコードされています)。
