タイトルにあるように、OSX ML 10.8 に npm を使用して「nowjs」をインストールできません。誰かに叫ばせる前に:) xCodeがインストールされており、コマンドラインユーティリティがあります。

node-proxy (この場合は nowjs) を sudo でインストールする必要がある場合があります。
