DrawString() を使用して、どういうわけか、カーソルの位置を入力することは可能でしょうか?

Java 用の JCreator IDE を使用しています。

たとえば、次のようなものを使用したとします。

私がやりたいことは、マウスが描画キャンバス上でクリックされたときにユーザーが入力できるようにすることです。ユーザーはプログラムで既に図形を描画できますが、画面上でテキストを入力できるようにしたいと考えています。
