heroku - Tesseract-OCR on Heroku with Node.js

Question

is there any possibilities to use Tesseract-OCR on Heroku with Node.js ?

I read somewhere that gcc is needed and is not available on Heroku... Maybe it's possible to compile it locally before upload?
