エラーメッセージsearchStringはnil、

NSPredicate *filterPredicate = [NSPredicate

検索文字列が指定されていない場合にすべてのオブジェクトを表示することが意図されている場合は、その場合、フェッチ リクエストに述語を割り当てないでください。
