この電子メール送信方法には大きな穴があります。スパマーは、追加の受信者を挿入することで、 From:ヘッダーを簡単にオーバーライドできます。

あなたのアプリケーションがどの程度メール中心になるかはわかりませんが、PHPMailerやPEAR::Mailのようなパッケージを使用することをお勧めします。これは、はるかに高いレベルでメール処理を処理してくれるからです。これにより、アプリケーションのより重要な部分に集中できます。組み込みの PHPmail()機能はその機能が非常に制限されており、メール機能を拡張しようとするとmail()、多くの追加ロジック (添付ファイル、MIME-タイプなどが思い浮かびます）。

メールをテストするときは、サーバーに対して直接テストできます.phpメールには、すでに実行されている機能があります。xampp でローカルにテストしても、localhost で php メーラーを設定していない限り、送信されません。しかし、私にとっては、ローカルホストよりもサーバーでテストする方が良いです。
