これはコマンドラインから実行していますか? コマンド変数は見えますが、それが実際に何をしているのか、何をしているのかについてのコンテキストがわかりません。どんなコマンドにも「sudo」プレフィックスを追加する必要がある場合があります（ターミナルにあると仮定します）。パーミッションエラーからそれを推測しているだけです。
