ssh URL にSCP のような構文を使用している場合、~/.ssh/config を考慮すると、その URL は次のようになります。

git remote set-url origin mylocalhost:root/testing.git

これは、GitLab アカウント ページに公開鍵 (~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub) を追加したことを前提としています。
