Windows 8 で次の例外が発生します。ただし、Windows 7 環境では動作します。この例外は comctl32.dll によってスローされるようです。コンボボックスではなくツールチップに問題がある以下を調べました。

同じ問題が発生し始めましたが、2016 年 5 月 5 日以降のことです。何年も触れられていなかったクライアント インストールが、comctl32.dll のアクセス違反でクラッシュし始めました。

AVG (ウイルス対策ソフトウェア) が何らかの形でこの問題を引き起こしていることが判明しました。同様の問題を報告している他のフォーラムやスレッドがあります。

私たちのアプリケーションでは、2 つのことがうまくいきました。

1) XP SP3 互換モードで実行 (Windows 8 または 10 でも)
