typo3 - FluidPages/Flux 構成が子ページに継承されない

構成の値が子ページに継承されるようにするにはどうすればよいですか? ViewHelper リファレンスで提案されているように、フィールドに対して inherit="true" を既に試しましたが、「 ConfigurationProvider によって継承が有効になっている場合」という情報をどうしたらよいかわかりません。
