ソースからの入力文字列の下にあり、mssql データベースを使用してデータをテーブルにロードしていますが、テーブルから以下のエラーが発生しています。

上記のエラーは、列「説明」が原因でのみ発生することがわかりました。ソースからの£1のせいですか？

これを試して：

out.description :: string_convert_explicit(in.description,"windows-1252","");

また、切り捨てが問題の場合:

out.description :: string_substring(string_convert_explicit(in.description,"windows-1252",""),1,30);

文字セットを utf8 のままにしてください。
