ファイルがストレージに既に存在するかどうかを確認しようとしています

if(Storage::exists($request->file_name)):
    dd(var_dump("it did exist"));
else:
    dd(var_dump("it did not exist"));
endif

しかし、ファイルが実際に削除された場合やファイルが存在しなかった場合でも、常に「存在していました」という文字列を返します。

ファイルをストレージにアップロードするときに問題がないので、ストレージの場所の設定に問題はないと確信しています。

Storage::put($file_name, File::get($file));
