コマンドラインツールをインストールすることをお勧めしますexif。port install exifrootとして実行することで、Macポートから取得できます。
iPodTouchで撮った写真に保存されているexif情報の例を次に示します。

EXIF data contains a thumbnail (10215 bytes).
GPSに関してはiPodTouchがiPhoneと同じ機能を持っているとは思いません。
iPhoneにも「GPSImgDirection」というデータが含まれているようです。これはあなたが望むもののように聞こえます。検索でこれに関する情報があまり見つからなかったので、それを有効にするために特別なことをする必要はないと思います。

すべてのEXIF情報を表示するために「外部」ツールは必要ありません。iPhoneアプリのiMetaPhotoを使用すると、すべてのメタ情報（EXIF、TIFF、IPTC、GPS、AUXiliary EXIFなど）と（最高のすべて）特に、それらのほとんどを変更できます。GPSImgDirectionを変更できます。
