Windows 10 ホスト上の仮想マシン ゲスト (Oracle VM VirtualBox ver.5.1.8) として、Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS デスクトップに Nova (Compute) を使用して Openstack (Newton) をセットアップしました。

インストールは成功し、下の図に示すように、(ホストから) http://192.168.56.102/dashboard/経由でログイン プロセスを行った後、Horizo​​n にアクセスできました。(ゲストからhttp://10.0.2.15/dashboard/経由でもアクセスできますが、ここには表示されません)

VM をシャットダウンし、後で再度オンにすると、Horizo​​n のダッシュボードを使用した Openstack へのアクセスが失われました。ダッシュボードに「Error: Unable to retrieve usage information」と表示されます（下図の右上）。この問題は難しい問題であり、常に再現される可能性があります。

以下は、ログイン プロセス後に Horizo​​n のダッシュボードから [Computer] -> [Overview] オプションが選択されたときに /var/log/apache2/horizo​​n_error.log ファイルに表示されるエラーの抜粋です (上の図 2 が生成されます)。

VM で ifconfig を確認すると、enp0s3、enp0s8、lo、virbr0 インターフェイスが構成されていますが、以下のようにシャットダウン前にあった br-ex は除きます。

このブリッジ (br-ex) がないことが、(ホストからの) Horizo​​n がゲストのサービスに接続できなかった原因であるかどうかは不明です。以下のようにetc/network/interfacesで静的に構成して、上記のbr-ex出力を取得しようとしました。

上記のように、HWaddr を 1a:ba:3a:4a:d5:4f に設定できず、代わりに 7a:07:1d:1d:1a:40 が表示されます。
