メソッドを含むクラスと、それらのメソッドを持たないクラスを定義しようとしており、後者のクラスのオブジェクトが前者のクラスのインスタンスからメソッドを「学習」できるようにしています。

これは私の試みです（Ruby 1.9.2）-ラムダバインディングで「self」の値を変更しようとすると（「BREAKS！」とコメントされた行で）壊れます。

これを解決する方法を考え出すことができれば、私は興味をそそられます。

あるクラスから別のクラスにメソッド間でコピーする場合は可能ですが、メソッドが状態を変更すると、メソッドが後でバインドされるオブジェクトではなく、元のオブジェクトの状態が変更されます（これは、メソッドが実際にコピーされていないためです）代わりに、メソッドのProcラッパーがメソッドとして新しいオブジェクトにバインドされます）：

a = Object.new
def a.hello
  puts "hello world from a"
end

b = Object.new
b.define_singleton_method(:hello, &a.method(:hello))
b.hello #=> "hello world from a"
