Ruby on Rails 3 を RHEL 6 にインストールしようとしています。sqlite と sqlite-devel (RHEL6 では sqlite3) を「yum install」しました。ご覧のとおり、必要な場所に sqlite3.h が存在します。「gem install sqlite3-ruby」は、何らかの理由でまだ機能しません。

SQLite3:

[root@rhel6base gems]# yum list sqlite-devel

PS: 「rhel6」タグを作成するのは確かに良いことですが、私には十分な評判がありません。

「gem install sqlite3-ruby」を機能させるには、gcc をインストールする必要があることがわかりました。gcc が見つからないことを明示的に通知することはありません (ログ ファイルにも記載されていません)。

私は「yuminstall」sqliteとsqlite-devel（RHEL6のsqlite3）を実行しました

それは真実ではない。RHEL6サーバーのインストールから：

# yum search sqlite
...
sqlite.i686 : Library that implements an embeddable SQL database engine
sqlite-devel.i686 : Development tools for the sqlite3 embeddable SQL database engine
...

sqlite3.hファイルがありません。RHEL6リポジトリにあるはずのファイルが必要な場合は、常に次のコマンドを使用してファイルを検索してください。

# yum provides /usr/include/sqlite3.h
sqlite-devel-3.6.20-1.el6.i686 : Development tools for the sqlite3 embeddable SQL database engine
Repo        : rhel-i386-server-6.0.z
