iphone - iPhone - encoding and decoding a NSValue

Question

So I read here on SO that I can encode a CGLayerRef to a NSValue using

NSValue *myCopy = [[NSValue alloc] initWithBytes:&myLayer objCType:@encode(CGLayerRef)]; 

but how do I recreate the CGLayerRef from myCopy?
