あなたのプロジェクトにはMainWindow.xib実際に存在しますか？

誤って削除した可能性があります。プロジェクトから削除した場合でも、3GSのバンドルに含まれている可能性があるため、3GSでも機能する可能性があります。

このような不整合が発生した場合、私は通常、プロジェクトをクリーンアップし、シミュレーターをリセットするか、デバイスからアプリをアンインストールします。
