Androidアプリにタイマー機能を実装しました..を呼び出して他のローカルメソッドからタイマーを終了できtimerObject.cancel()ます. 完璧に機能しています。

しかし、onTick()特定の条件のメソッドで同じものを呼び出そうとすると、タイマーをキャンセルできず、タイマーの時間が終了するまで続きます。

タイマーをキャンセルするにはどうすればよいですか?
