android - 塗りつぶしの親パラメーターで xml レイアウトを膨らませる

Question

Button を押すと、別の xml ファイルがコードとして膨張する Android アプリがあります。

protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);

    main = (RelativeLayout) findViewById(R.id.main1);
    childview = getLayoutInflater().inflate(R.layout.menubuttons, main,false);

    Button b1 = (Button) findViewById(R.id.button1);
    b1.setOnClickListener(new OnClickListener() {

        @Override
        public void onClick(View arg0) {
            main.addView(childview);
            stopService(new Intent(MainActivity.this, TopService.class));
        }
    });

膨張時に子ビューで親ビューを埋める必要がありますが、機能しません
