$response = recaptcha_check_answer($private_key, $CI->input->ip_address(), $challenge_field, $response_field);

$CI->input->ip_address()クライアント IP アドレスを検出するためのより洗練された方法があります。一人で使うよりREMOTE_ADDR。

また、秘密鍵と公開鍵の両方がサーバーのドメイン名と一致していることを確認するか、グローバル鍵を使用してください。
