バージョン5.2.5以降、PHPは循環参照を持つオブジェクトグラフをガベージコレクションできません。たとえば、親には親への参照を持つ子への参照があります。多くのDoctrineモデルオブジェクトにはそのような関係があるため、オブジェクトがスコープ外になっても、PHPはメモリを解放しません。

ほとんどのPHPアプリケーションでは、PHPスクリプトは短命である傾向があるため、この問題はほとんど重要ではありません。循環参照チェーンを手動で切断しない限り、バルクデータインポーターやエクスポーターなどの長寿命のスクリプトでメモリが不足する可能性があります。Doctrineは、Doctrine_Record、Doctrine_Collection、およびDoctrine_Queryにfree（）関数を提供します。これらの関数は、これらのオブジェクトの循環参照を削除し、ガベージコレクションのために解放します。

Doctrine_Query には free() メソッドもあります。現時点では、Doctrine_Collection で free() を呼び出すだけです。たとえば、次のように試してください。

クエリがそれほど多くないため、とにかくORMを本当に必要としないバックエンド部分にPDOを使用するだけかもしれません。私は、このシステム内のすべてのアプリで DB とやり取りする単一の方法が本当に欲しかったのです。たぶん、もう少し考えてみます。
