私はXamarinを使用しているので、これらの行を基本アクティビティに追加すると問題が解決しました:

Window window = this.Window;
window.AddFlags(WindowManagerFlags.DrawsSystemBarBackgrounds);

ステータスバーの色は colorPrimaryDark で設定できます。

values-v21/styles.xml に追加します

<style name="AppTheme" parent="AppTheme.Base">

<item name="android:colorPrimaryDark">@color/colorPrimayDark</item>
